A case pertaining to a 'software development agreement' entered between an Indian Software professional with an European Citizen is posted herein for emphasizing the effect of 'Online Consultancy Solutions' . The software professional after developing the 'software' demanded more money and threatened to sell the 'source code' to competitor companies. The European citizen in need of an Indian Lawyer contacted the Author. After verifying the 'Agreement' and e-mail correspondence, a 'Legal Notice' was sent to the defaulter software professional. Within a fortnight, the source code was delivered to the foreign citizen. Though, he paid a sum to the software professional, Legal Notice helped him to reduce the hiked-fee demanded by the software engineer.
